Feel to Fight Online Workshop: Somatic Tools for Moving from Paralyzed to Mobilized
Nervous system care for overwhelmed neighbors seeking connection and courage.
Do you feel stuck, anxious, or frozen watching the rise of fascism in the U.S.? You’re not alone.
A lot of us are carrying fear, outrage, and exhaustion in our bodies—and struggling to know what to do with it. This workshop is a space to pause, ground, and shift from overwhelm toward meaningful action, without bypassing your humanity.
Come as you are. No prior activism experience needed—just a willingness to breathe, connect, and imagine what’s possible when we move through fear, rage, and courage together.
If you’ve been feeling…
Doom-scrolling and then going numb
Tight chest, clenched jaw, braced shoulders, insomnia, fatigue
Spiraling between “I should be doing more” and “I can’t do anything”
Alone in your fear, even when you’re surrounded by people
Unsure where to put your outrage so it doesn’t eat you alive
…this is for you.
This isn’t a workshop about “staying positive,” nor will it try to shame you into doing more.
It’s about building the internal steadiness to stay connected to yourself and others—so your next steps can be rooted, not reactive.
What this workshop is:
Feel to Fight is a somatic, grounding, community-based workshop designed to help you move from paralyzed → mobilized in times of collective crisis.
Together, we’ll explore:
Psychoeducation: how emotions and nervous systems respond to collective crisis
Somatic practices: releasing tension, building resilience, expanding capacity
Meditations: grounding, clarity, and orientation when everything feels like too much
Connection: community support + pathways into local volunteer opportunities
Who this workshop is for:
Neighbors feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or frozen by the current political climate
People looking for tools to regulate their bodies and emotions
Folks curious about connecting personal healing with collective action
Anyone wanting to meet like-minded people and find a foothold for meaningful contribution
If you’ve been waiting to feel “ready” before taking action, this space is a gentle, real starting point.
What you’ll walk away with:
By the end, you can expect
A better understanding of your stress response (and how to work with it) - by yourself, with another person, and in groups.
Practical somatic tools to reduce overwhelm and increase steadiness
A felt sense of choice, hope, or relief (instead of shutdown or panic)
Connection with others who are also trying to meet this moment with integrity
Clearer pathways toward local, doable ways to contribute
The vibe:
Part education, part experience, part genuine connection. You’ll be learning concepts, interacting with fellow participants, and practicing some of the tools as we go. In general, the space will feel grounded, warm, and authentic/real, not performative.
This is nervous system care for people who are trying to stay human in inhuman times.
